Corporate Commercial Solicitor - May 2019
Banks Kelly Solicitors are looking to recruit a full time Corporate Commercial Solicitor to join their ever expanding team.
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary dependant on experience and will work very closely with the Head of Property in looking after some large commercial clients. Property experience (particularly Commercial and Development) is essential as part of the role will be assisting with pure property work.
Networking and building their own relationships with existing and new clients and agents is encouraged.
The ideal applicant will be 4 years plus PQE and have a broad range of knowledge and understanding in the following areas;
• Share Purchase Acquisitions and Disposals.
• Drafting and reviewing Share Purchase and Sale Agreements, Business Purchase Agreements and all ancillary documents including corporate minutes.
• Drafting and reviewing Shareholder Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements and Promotion Agreements.
• Commercial Financing work including Loan and Security documents.
• UPE and employment matters (preferred but not essential).
• Freehold commercial sales and acquisitions (subject to occupational tenancies or vacant possession).
• Option Agreements and Conditional Contracts.
• Commercial Leases, Licences to Assign and Licenses to Occupy acting for both the Landlord and Tenant.
Two of our main clients are a Bridging Loan Company and a client who has a large portfolio of Care Homes (who often purchase and sell various homes as going concerns). The successful candidate will be working with these clients.

Property Post Completion Assistant and Accounts - May 2019
Banks Kelly Solicitors are looking to recruit a full time Property Post Completion Assistant/Accounts Assistant to join their ever expanding team. The role will be split between the post completion aspects and also working with our Practice Manager offering general assistance.
The successful candidate will be offered a salary dependent on experience and will work very closely with the Property Department and the Accounts Department.
Experience for this role in relation to post completion work is essential. The successful candidate would be responsible for all property files from completion to archiving.
Key duties:
• Processing of all files following completion.
• Filing of charges to Companies House
• Corresponding with Solicitors and Insurers on outstanding documentation
• Maintaining workload and ensuring all priority searches are up to date.
• Submitting AP1’s/FR1’s to Land Registry on the online portal
• Dealing and responding to requisitions
• Liaising with Solicitors
• Assisting Fee Earners.
Full training will be given for duties assisting the Accounts Department.
Paralegal – May 2019
Banks Kelly Solicitors are looking to recruit a full time Paralegal to join their ever expanding team.
The successful candidate will be offered a salary dependant on experience and will work very closely with the solicitors of the firm.
Networking and building their own relationships with existing and new clients and agents is encouraged.
The role will include opening files, general office admin, drafting letters and dealing with clients, taking calls and general assistance. There is an opportunity for exposure to all areas of the law and dependant on progression and experience the potential to handle their own caseload under supervision.
